There are exceptions to the rule (Jets), but the Super Bowl Champs almost always have a top flight QB (Brees, Manning, Brady, Big Ben).

It's a QB-driven league. QB is the #1 ingredient to consistent winning.
I think the FO of this team (past and present) have had this in mind, but they've screwed things up and gone at this the wrong way obviously.
