Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
He wasn't too bad against USC, Syracuse or Oregon St. Now true he looked pretty bad passing the ball against Nebraska, but he still managed to beat a very tough Nebraska defense. I'll take a pro style qb that finds a way to win over one that finds ways to lose. We've had far too many of the later lately.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
Well he's not 100%, but apart from that yeah his arm isn't looking too strong. He shouldn't try to force it, in my opinion. I think his arm strength is decent but what's going to get him drafted are his intangibles, mobility, and accuracy

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
Christian Ballard is getting enough hype I think it is safe for me to quit hoping the Skins get him in the 2nd round.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
I watched the first 30 mins. of Tuesday's North practice. Two thoughts:
- The Jordan kid from Cal is quick, both hands & feet. Looks like a good motor. Would be a nice addition at DE for us. - Looking at Locker and the kid from Nevada....didn't see much difference between the two. Stanzi....meh. We need to stay away from QB at # 10. Maybe take a shot with Mallett if he drops to the 2nd or Dalton / Kap later in the draft.

OLB - Von Miller Center - Hudson/Wisniewski QB - Dalton/Ponder The Dalton/Ponder idea would only work provided we trade players to receive a 3rd or maybe 4th round draft pick and either one of them is still there.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
Damn this poll was hard for me. I really wanted to go with OL but i dont think there is a guard or center worth number 10 over all, and i feel like a tackle can be picked up in FA. I went with Trade the Pick, circa 2008's dream draft..... minus the guys we ended up getting. I still think that was the smartest thing Vinny ever did; great idea just very poor execution. Also im only up for trading up so we can get some more picks or players, not down.

Wow! I didn't expect this poll to appear so soon. I was pleasantly surprised when I logged in today. Thanks go out to the moderators.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
Went with trade the pick (feel like it's kind of the cop out pick right now). I would really like to get a pick this year and next, but not sure that anyone on the board will demand enough interest. I still think 10 is one of the most tradeable picks out there, as someone will unexpectedly fall.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
BPA should be an option on the poll, as its the most sensible of all possible options.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
I took the LB option based on if Von Miller is there, if not DL with a DE pick as my second option. WR Green would be my overall option, but he is not going to fall.

Re: 2011 Senior Bowl Week
Voted for LB. I would take Gabbert if he's there unless there was one specific defensive player who we were really loving who unexpectedly dropped (Amakumara, for example, or perhaps Miller or Dareus). Or, of course, AJ Green, who would top my board for the Redskins. But assuming all the need + value players don't make it out of the top nine, Gabbert would be my target.
If all five of those players are gone, then I'm looking for OLBs or DEs such as Cameron Jordan, Robert Quinn, etc. My pick would be on that side of the ball.

I didn't expect a poll to start on page 5 of a thread. I also haven't figured out why so many posters want a QB there at #10. After all, didn't we drop #2 & #3 to get #5??? Who cares if he thinks he's better than what he is. He is what he is! BTW, don't you think all 31 other teams fans are targeting the same guys we do?
