Re: Jerry Jones Super Bowl Off To A Rough Start

Wow, lessseee now, host an event that generates in excess of 300 million dollars in local revenue. When was the last time Dan Snyder hosted and an event that pumped over 300 million into the local economy? And not an over-the-hill veteran free agent?

Like he has control of the weather. But this winter and Super Bowl will be a wake-up call to the NFL about hosting the Super Bowl in an outdoor stadium in New York in February.

It's not Snyder's fault that the NFL will not give him a Super Bowl to host. It's bullshit if you ask me there should be more Super Bowls played in the cold. Football is a cold weather sport. I seriously doubt that there would be a drop off in attendance if the Super Bowl was held in D.C., Pittsburgh, or NY...

Ah yes.....the Super Bowl was created by Jerruh, and as a matter of fact so was the NFL.

The NFL brings SBs when possible to new stadiums to help offset the building costs. Let's back off the "Jerruh hosting an event" nonsense.

If he would have taken a moment he would have realized DC is not having the same "Snow" problems Dallas is right now. Matter of fact all we have this weekend is rain. So technically the SB would have been ok in the "cold" weather climates right now. Plus I don't think it's supposed to rain or snow tomorrow in DC.

About the only thing the fans would have had to worry about is the rain spoiling any outside events but the bars, momuments, and musiums would be open.

But hey, at least Jerruh got to parade the Lombardi Trophy up to the podium in the hands of Roger Staubach. Couldn't resist that I guess.

For most fans, watching a SB live never happens.

Stepping on the field AFTER missing the game isn't much of a prize to them.

But if you are a fan of GB or Pitt, you did not come to watch just any Super Bowl, whether your entry was free or not. You came to watch THAT Super Bowl.

Imagine the excitement of a 8-year-old Packers fan who is thrilled to see his team play in the Super Bowl. Than, at the last minute, you find out that you aren't really gonna see the game. Do you want to be that kid? Do you want to be the dad who has to break the news to that kid?

A free ticket to see, say, Chicago play New England play in next year's game is not going to cut it as a make-up in this situation.
