I thought he took jewelry from a jewelry dealer not understanding that there is no distinction between taking gifts from a private citizen or an agent. From what I read, he was naive. This isn't a kid that's been participating in illegal activities at least from all reports I've seen, it's a case of a kid making a bad decision.
How many of us at that age made worse decisions than that? I work in a prison full of those kids.
