Chiefs
With the trade and signing of Patrick Surtain today, the Chiefs have done a great job this offseason of improving their one weakness...Defense.
besides Surtain the Kansas City Cheifs have signed free agent middle linebacker Kendrell Bell, safety Sammy Knight, and pass-rush specialist Carlos Hall. They will have a much better defense this year. |

Re: Chiefs
The chiefs get the Danny-boy Snyder Award for the best acquisitions of the off-season and have won the paper Super Bowl trophy that comes along with it.

Re: Chiefs
THey look good. I'm not happy about having to play thme, especially in KC, where they are very tough. I don't think this is just an "on paper" improvment.

Re: Chiefs
Adding Surtain and Knight is good for KC.
Hall may be really good or he may be really ordinary depending on how he is used and how they work to get him some open runs into the backfield. Bell is long in the tooth. I'm not sure he's such a big addition.

Re: Chiefs
Bell is a 5-year vet, if that's long in the tooth...
KC has made some good moves on paper, it's yet to be seen if it will come together on the field. |

Re: Chiefs
their defense is too piss poor to be solved by those couple of players. they'll be a bit better but still not that good.

Re: Chiefs
good for them and us, if we do descide to trade down it allows us not to have to worry that KC will take a CB and it leaves us more free to trade down a little farther.
THat draft show showed that there are like 7 teams after us who want a DE and many of them would love to get to the top of the pack to get their desired player, We can trade down just a little and get our player that we want and an extra pick |

Re: Chiefs
I still think the best offseason by any team so far has been for the Minnesota Vikings and its not even close. I mean all four of their players in the backfield have the potential to be pro-bowlers and then the addition by subtraction of the proverbial tumor in Randy Moss. People make a big deal about the impact his departure will have on the vikings offense but last year Culpepper showed he could utilize a multitude of targets and the team scored more than 25 points . I mean freakin Jermaine Wiggins was their leading reciever for crying out loud. I know I'm glad we'd only have to play them in the playoffs if a matchup were to occur this season.

Re: Chiefs
Well, I want to see how these teams pan out on the field. The Redskins have looked good on paper by signing free agents and it amounted to NOTHING!!!

Re: Chiefs
Let's not forget that they had one of, if not THE worst defense in the NFL. This talent is sure to help them!
Their draft choice is a beast too!
