Re: Top 10 NFL head coaches
I guess it should be noted that this is not based just on last season.

Let's hope that Shanny ranks higher at this time next year.

Re: Top 10 NFL head coaches
A little high for Mike Smith whose teams haven't done dick in the playoffs. Same for Harbaugh. I like Lovie and Rex also but don't rings count for anything? Also Coughlin is a bit high for my taste. He gets average results from above average talent. With a better coach the Giants would be at the Patriots level over the past 8 yrs IMO.

Re: Top 10 NFL head coaches
I was ready to be pissed if i saw Jim Caldwell on the list....
I think Andy Reid is a little high and would put Mike McCarthy and Sean Payton above him. Overall hard list to argue with and definitely agree with number 1 and 2. Also Mike is the only one who only got an initial for his first name.

Re: Top 10 NFL head coaches
Shanahan should be higher than Lovie Smith.

Re: Top 10 NFL head coaches
I didn't call him Rich Kotite but I still think it's a bit high. The franchises history has no bearing on him as a head coach, does it?

Anyway the team is young and he has been able to work wonders with them. I'd say he's right where he needs to be on that list.
