The third form of protection seems to be more and more vital in todays NFL and thats the ability of a QB to protect himself, either through mobility (Rodgers, Vick, Ben) or a lightning quick release (Manning). Obviously the mobility aspect is more practical and is becoming more and more a part of the game. Personally I want a QB that is able to move around and of all the QB's this year Mallet is easily the worst when it comes to moving around the pocket. Forget gaining yards, this guy is a statue.
