Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1

SMOOT - On NFLN they showed a shot of one lone Skins fan in the seats, wearing a burgundy Portis jersey.

My life laughed and said "Look, we only have one fan there!"

WAS THAT YOU?

----------------

My thoughts:

Titans taking Locker that early...stupid but I was excited that they saved us from being stupid.

Then, I was nervous we'd take Gabbert, not a fan. THANK YOU JAGS! GREAT TRADE FOR US! 2 second-rounders will be very beneficial.

Kerrigan was a solid pick for us. We should be able to play OLB fine. I watched his highlight vid and checked his sack/forced fumble stats...IMPRESSIVE. I'm excited to see him and 'Rak attacking QBs from both sides. We're going to be a D with a ton of sacks and TOs.

NOW...Get DALTON with one of the picks, preferably #41. Then go for the best available O-Lineman, Hankerson (WR-Miami) or a CB, maybe the kid from Miami.

I thiik we have a great shot at Kris Jenkins in FA to address the middle of our D-line, so use the draft for more pressing needs.
