I've only been saying this for months now. All of you guys that would rather have Mallet over Kaepernick or Dalton are stupid (but in a nice kind of way?).

Here is what is going to happen:

41: Wisniewski

49: Trade down later into the second

#?: Colin Kaepernick
Agree. Paea might end up being the best NT in the whole draft. I hope we have him in our trick-or-treat bag tonight.

SS, who is Matich? I think you owe me lunch too. I've been pushing for Kaepernick since day 1. I'm cheap though. I'll be happy just going to subway. Eat fresh! lol
I don't know if he'll be gone by 41 but I'm thinking gone by 49 is a definite possibility

With as many needs as we have, I don't think we can gamble on a guy with a possibly significant medical concern.
Agreed, total luxury pick. if i'm New England, i'm all over him though.

Re: NFL Draft Day 2: Predictions

I think most of us agree on a QB at 41 (Kaepernick, or Mallet). #49 is a toss up, but I'm thinking if we get a QB at 41, then we'll probably take the best available WR (Little, Hankerson, Smith) and Little IMO, seems like the best out of the 3. There are some good NT's later in the draft, and wouldn't mind a guy like Kenrick Ellis from Hampton (but he might be gone) Kenrick Ellis, Hampton, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com.

We still have needs (CB, C, NT, ILB, OT) after are two picks, but getting a QB and WR adresses two needs.

Oh and this doesnt have anything to do with the draft really but I mentioned it before so just an update, my buddy Andre Davis is apparently still wanting to sign with Washington, not sure it will all work out but hoping it does!

Re: NFL Draft Day 2: Predictions

Why do people keep thinking Paea's a NT, none of these draft guys say that he'd be good at NT, he's a 4-3 DT people.

This is why I want Dalton and a new Center from Penn State for him in Round 2.

Kenrick Ellis could be a great pickup. Obviously, i haven't seen much of him, but going from what you hear on the radio he got in some trouble at a big school as a Freshman, transferred played 3 years at Hampton as a model citizen and has been dominant. Don't know any further details.
