Antoher Fb???/broughton/citadel
Well we drafted yet another FB.......Broughton/Citadel......
POSITIVES: Built like a truck with stocky legs and a thick frame. Workhorse back with good power and strength to pound it inside. Strong runner. At his best between tackles. Runs with good pad level and nice balance. Has natural hands. Solid blocker. Self starter with good work ethic. NEGATIVES-Has not faced tough competition. Not very elusive and lacks lateral quickness. Does not have the speed to bounce it outside or go the distance. Only knows one speed. Musclebound and stiff with limited flexibility that affects his route running. Summary-Built like a typical Steeeler bulldozing back, but looked lie just a guy at the Senior Bowl and will be a fullback for most teams........ Don't you love those colorful descriptions ![]() P.S. Did anyone else notice that silly shirt Andy Reid had on........hahahaha

Re: Round 7: Nehemiah Broughton, Jr., FB Citadel
I think he was the top rated FB according to SI. He also was considered a day one prospect to them so I am sure that we took him due to highest guy on our board.

GREAT PICKUP!!!!!! I have wanted this guy all along. I don;t know why we got the FB from UCLA but because this guy is going to be a stud. He is huge, has great hands, and can block. Best pick of day 2 for us!!!!

I think White will be a HB and a short yardage RB. This could be the end of Ladell Betts.

Re: Round 7: Nehemiah Broughton, Jr., FB Citadel
It cant hurt the special teams.
I still think some of these picks might be projects for HB or TE. |
