My bad, was typing on the fly, that would be pretty impressive if Luck and Moore went to Stanford.

The key is that we are a MUCH MUCH BETTER team than we were Thursday morning, and added some new starters to the defense and some good depth to the offensive skill positions. Cant do it all in 1 draft.

Andrew Luck QB Stanford
Matt Barkley QB USC
Kirk Cousins QB Michigan State
Ryan Lindley QB San Diego State
Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma State
Nick Foles QB Arizona
G.J. Kinne QB Tulsa
Kellen Moore QB Boise State
Landry Jones QB Oklahoma

IF Dan Persa comes back healthy add him into the mix. If he has another nice year with Northwestern he would be behind Luck, Moore, Barkley, and Jones. If he improves upon his 2010 stats, I would put him at #3. Persa is superior to the rest of your field with the exception of the "Big 3".

I think our defense is much better. If Shanny gets his RB mojo, then we may have a good RB group. Hopefully we have a starting WR in Hankerson, although our WR group will be as good as our QB and offensive line play...and well it has yet to be seen how that's going to work out.

Here is a question...

Would anyone go for a McNabb for Jimmy Clausen trade?

McNabb to groom Newton, we get Clausen who won't get a real shot with the money Newton is getting?

Anyone?

No thanks. Either get a late round pick from Minnesota or do the right thing and let McNabb go. Anyone want to propose a Haynesworth trade.

Haynesworth back to the titans for Vince Young plus a 2nd or a 3rd

Not a Clausen fan... just thinking it makes sense for both sides. YOUNG Competition for Beck & Grossman.

I might be up for that. It's a better trade than a late-round pick. I'm not a great Clausen fan and he had a bad rookie year but some good QB's suck as rookies.

If after 1 year Carolina has already given up on Clausen, I wouldn't take him

Re: Redskins 2011 Starting Quarterback: John Beck?

Hey, I'm not saying give Clausen the starting job... saying he'd be worth a the price of McNabb maybe. We need another QB somewhere regardless. Our only one under contract is over 30, and so is Grossman.

Yeah i wouldn't mind giving a shot to Klausen...

The only thing Carolina had to help that poor kid out was RB's... They had a crapfest Line, and WR's because Smith was hurt all the time.
