Not sure if serious?

That was the second to last week of the season and we were 5-9 at the time.

Way to step up with a big 1/2 game of work in a meaningless game Carlos.

Doesn't really fall into the big play category if you ask me.

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

His best play came in 2008. Since then, he has not been as good. Good riddance, I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the fellas Willie Parker was talking about.

If we give him a fat contract, I predict the results would be like the many Snyder contracts doled out. Let him go to Philly so they can boo him for dropping too many passes. That would be hilarious.

If he really wants to....KNOW frustration...be a fan and watch him continually drop potential int's the ESPN clerical pool wouldn't.
I guess he wouldn't drop his paycheck, right? Oh wait, he apparently cannot hold on to his money either?
He can be pissed when he has earned it and not been awarded some...imagined respect.

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

I mean, I think his play as a whole was kind of under appreciated. I don't TOTALLY disagree with him, I think overall he was a pretty good corner during his time here...top ten pick? Maybe not, but in terms of shutting down his guy, I think he was pretty good.

Dude could NOT make a play though. For all the times D. Hall got beat deep last year, he was a playmaker and game changer. He pretty much won us two games last season (Dallas & Chicago)... I honestly think if Carlos didnt drop that pick 6 in 2005 we would have gone to the Super Bowl.

But seriously man, shut the hell up. This guy whined the whole time he was here, always complaining about something, get the hell out of here then. I couldnt be happier about the roster turnover we've had since Shannahan got here. I am a little skeptical about the QB position still, but finally time to get some fresh faces around here.

He had a nice pick against Houston week 2, but the last big time game changing/winning play was probaboly 2008 against Arizona. His pick pretty much won us the game.

I agree with Saden overall though, I mean he couldn't catch a cold, but he did a good enough job for me while he was here. In terms of being a cover corner, I think Springs was better than Rogers, but I think Rogers was better than D. Hall. The only difference is D. Hall makes big plays and Rogers does not.

Re: Rogers Ready to Move On

Kick rocks ya bum.. Another wasted draft pick by Vinny with DeMarcus Ware and Aaron Rodgers on the board. Rogers is a scrub, if he was wearing any other jersey than ours the past few seasons nobody around here would be craving him as a FA corner if we had a need. There are VERY few Redskins players I've disliked in my fandom years but this clown definitely qualifies.

3 pages for a CORNER! I hate you all. I'd be happier with a 5 page thread for a long snapper.

As much as I agree with what people are saying about him on this message board, this I disagree with. A bust is someone who never lived up to his potential. He lived up to his potential most of the time. Also, he's still playing a few years after getting drafted, and will be a sought out FA. A bust from that draft is someone like:
Alex Smith
Erasmus James
Cadillac Williams
Pacman Jones
Troy Williamson
David Pollack
Matt Jones

And by the way, coming out of college Rogers did get noticed for "drops interceptions" by scouts, so it's not like we never saw this coming.
Bottom line, hold off on the he's a bust talk.

Yes, but it's not like anyone, Vinny or not, saw those two players being potential all pro's. It's not like in the 2000 draft we should have drafted Tom Brady at 198 instead of Matt Bowen..you see what I'm getting at here.

Also I wish we had drafted Rogers instead of Campbell, but Oh well.

Are you kidding? Rodgers was in contention to be a top 10 pick. Ware and Merriman were both highly rated pass rushers at the time. Go back and review history of that draft my man.

Agree that he's not a bust, but I'm not sure scouts knew he had trouble with interceptions back in college

Yep. This is all about money.
