re: Murdoch, Fox News & the Hacking Scandal

I love a story about a lack of coverage and they have only reported on it 14 times in 5 days. So they are ingnoring the story just shy of 3 times a day. I have been working 14 hours days and have seen no news is Murdoch even been tied to any of this or is it just speculation.

Well FD I think its safe to say Murdoch was not hacking into the phones. Murdoch owns and runs his company that holds News of the World and put people in charge how do run the day to day operations. Also this has been going on since 2006 so Murdoch could have known and not acted. That is speculation, but what is not speculation is none of this happend because the big story is News of the World has actually admitted guilty and people in charge are now being arrested and compesention is being made. Question is now how far did it go and if this was widespread pratice among the Murdoch corp. Would you love to find out 9/11 victims phone records were gotten or attempted to be retrived? If that turns out to be true, I got a shovel you can borrower to help bury Murdoch, cause that will be the end of him.

The only part of that statement you know to be true is that Murdoch owned the corporation which was a subsidiary to his corporation. Other then that he may have had no involvement in the corportion at all and thats very common. He may have had total control and very hands on but I have not seen anything to that affect. Who knows. Your thing seems to be FOX but reporting on it 3 times a day is far from ignoring the story.

Ive been tuning in since the story broke to Fox and to be fair and balanced at most its a given mention then a very cop-like "move on, nothing to see here" approach. Like I said its a HUGE story and they're not breaking a round table out on it to discuss. It very obvious their protecting their interest where if it was one of the supposid lamestream media empires they would be all over it. Take a look at this from CNN and very interesting clip from Fox inbetween a commercial break:

We know you just wanted a reason to watch FOX NEWS. You have probably watch more FOX news thes year then I have. I actually call them the Old Fart Paranoid Station. Every old person I know seems to have Fox News on 24/7.
