Psh that wasn't even the worst of it. Back in the day on the PS2 I used to turn offsides off so I could get a head start on my pass rush. All my LB's and D-linemen used to average like 20 sacks every season haha. I'd do that today if they hadn't changed it so you can't.
And nowadays I don't even trade for the first overall pick anymore. I trade relatively 3-5 spots ahead of where the player I want is predicted to be drafted, that way I don't have to pay a player like a first overall pick.

Well it's like I used to say, it's no fun unless you're dominating every aspect of the game except for the punting stats. Nowadays I take whoever I'm pass rushing with and give him a little space on my side of the LOS so he can get a running start before he tries to get past the o-linemen.
