I'm sorry if you don't like the fact I relish that assholes never get the big championship, but it makes me feel all warm and snuggly inside.

I never got the hate for Irvin beyond him being a Cowboy. He seems, at least these days, like a genuinely nice guy. Maybe he was a little different when he was partying hard and snorting lines of white powder but I never felt like he was a bad guy, like Pacman or any other trouble maker you might want to name.
