If you own property down there you have a pass when they close down the island. I went down back in 1991 for hurrican BOB. It brushed the Outer Banks and was gone over night. I actually made CNN news as they followed us through a small store. They showed us getting tape, water, and then beer. Yeah, I kinda want to go check it out just so say ive been through it, but common sense is a b*tch. Thats pretty good story. If forcasters are correct Wilmington gonna be in trouble.
