Since the defense is usually ahead of the offense early in the season, and there wasn't as much time to get ready this year, what would this be attributed to? I wonder if the fact that there are so many calls against the defense for hitting the QB and "defenseless" WR's has anything to do with it? Or is it Cam Newton?
