I've always liked Morton since we signed him, but he isn't the greatest. Everyone seems very high on Brown, but wouldn't you think there was a reason he was available mid-season when Morton went down? The guy is a burner, but does he have the skills needed to be successful long-term?
I agree with SC in that the biggest part of the return game is the blocking, and have stated before I tend to think that Brown (and others) had more success later in the season because the blocking (and/or blocking schemes) had improved. Yeah, a good return man is nice, but if he doesn't have space to get going, or any lanes to run through, he's never gonna get very far. Oh, but of course BOTH of them are 1st ballot HOF locks!!! :headbange |
