Re: Predict the Redskins record for the rest of the season

The Redskins need a lot of work. But after a strong preseason and very good beginning to the regular season, they ended up a nice 3-1 before the bye week. Had Mike Shanahan replaced Rex Grossman at halftime with Beck during the Eagles game, the Redskins might have come back to win. But the awful way they've played the past two games against Carolina and Buffalo has me scratching my head. They've shown that they are a better team than that by beating the NFC East division leading NY Giants on opening day.

But to answer the question, if this team had the desire, they could pull out five straight wins and be 8-4 contending for a playoff spot towards the end of the season. They could still end up 10-6 or 9-7 if they get it together.
