I have been a big believer in them but they have royal fawked up the QB position which was suppose to be their specialty.

How about Carlos Rogers, ever have a bad job then got a good job but went back to visit your friends at the bad job just to say hi and you left smiling knowing you don't have to work in that shit hole anymore, that is great feeling. That was how Carlos felt yesterday.
Most QB grades are limited in what they can judge about what goes on in the head, hence, they focus on the more physical aspects of QB play. Going by the limited info they had, they thought Beck show more than his peers, who were also quite awful in retrospect.

Beck, for all his flaws, can least develop into some sort of backup. That's more than what you can say about JaMarcus and Quinn. Korn on the Kolb is better than Beck right now, but Kolb also folds real quick when dealing with pressure, and laughably failed to own us despite having TWO chances. Drew Stanton - haven't heard from him. Trent Edwards only had one good half a season, and couldn't even beat out Kyle Boller(ok, Al Davis was a flaky dude sometimes, but still).

That was a good way of looking at so I guess Beck was not the worst pick in that draft and probably was one of the better. But it is also like saying he was the hottest chick at fat camp.
