Maybe you don't remember how bad we were for most of the 90s, when the Cookes were still in charge

I'd take 1 Super bowl win in the 90's than 0 Super bowl wins since 91.

Didn't we get a SB in 92', at least he was focused on the team. Don't try that smootsmack, the cooks were good for the team. Cmon man.

As I am Gus Frerotte, may I remind you that we didn't look this pathetic with the exception of 1993. We always hovered around .500 ball and were competitive against all of our divisional opponents during the 90's. Hell we swept the Boys in '96 even. Our only problem on offense was Gus throwing INTs, but at least he knew how to get a TD in the red zone just as much or a bit more. Our O line was awesome, we had an aging Terry Allen leading the NFC in scoring, and we had some aging wideouts that could catch the damn ball. J. Jenkins wasn't that bad of a TE either. Our run D was solid with Mr. Harvey achoring the LB corp and Darrell doing the same with the DBs. Our safeties sort of sucked, but they knew how to pick a ball off. In short, yeah we lost because of turnovers and our defensive backfield overall was suspect, but at least we looked like a decent football team.

We were 3-13 I believe in 1995. We started 7-1 another year only to lose 6 of our next 7. Lost 6 or 7 in a row another year to start the season. Consistently finished in the bottom half of the league in offense. Made some terrible FA decisions. Adding many aging and past their prime veterans.

I know we won the SB in 1992. But it's not like after that the Cookes just picked up their Lonbardi and handed the team over.

But whatever, we were bad then and we're bad now. Can't do anything about the past though

About the only thing left to get excited about is playing Dallass and the Iggles. Lets hope we can beat them.
