He puts it on those guys to make plays. They haven’t made as many plays this year as they have in previous years.”

“I’d say he’s middle-of-the-pack," Hall said. "Definitely not the worst in the league. He’s a capable quarterback. He’s taken them to a couple AFC Championships, so he definitely knows how to win the big games.”

“If you can discourage them from running the ball and try to attack the quarterback, he’s a young guy who’s still finding his way," Hall said. "He’s got a lot of talent, but if you can harass him and make him take it all on his shoulders, that’s your best chance to win.”

Good stuff. I think DeAngelo Hall and Mark Sanchez should critique each other's play every week, publically. I would look forward to it.

I don't have a problem with what Hall said. It is right on the money, but still; anytime a Skins player got cocky and called out an opposing player, he got burned. How many times have we called out Romo and the Boys only to lose, when we should have won, etc. We made Romo look like a hero when he played with a broken rib and punctured lung, after someone called him out beforehand. Everytime folks want to stick a fork into Sanchez, he comes up with a nice game. I guess it was Hall's turn to egg him on. I hope Hall gets a pick six or two, but historically speaking, we end up laying a dud after calling a specific player out.

Hall didn't say anything that wasn't easy for him to see when looking at Mark Sanchez on tape, and I don't think he was even particularly blunt about it. I just thought it would be exciting if someone put a microphone in Sanchez' face and asked him to talk about playing against DeAngelo Hall. This could be a weekly thing. It'd be great!

Re: Redskins Vs Jets Pregame Thread

LOL, nothing like one of our players to tell an opponant what they do wrong so they can fix it and not do it. "hey the QB likes to look to the right just before he throw to his left", "the Center lifts his arse just before he hikes the ball", "when the RB is going to run the ball he stands in a two point stance if its pass he stands in a three point stance", "when the defense is rushing the MLB stays back about five yards, but if he's going into coverage he runs up to the LOS as if he's rushing but doesn't."

JK.
