Watching every one of his games for three seasons, I agree with you. Barkley will absolutely shine if he's got the talent around him. Earlier this season, his only consistent weapon was Robert Woods... Bark struggled when defenses figured out how to take everyone else away. Once the younger guys started getting it, you saw what happened to the entire offense.

Having said that, this may show that Matt has the fortitude to work through struggle. Even if he starts out badly, due to a dearth of talent, if the players grow around him... he'll start looking like a mini Aaron Rodgers.
