Super fan of this. I liked the job he did in TB...not sure what happened this past year but he is a young guy who players like and has some good leadership skills. Really good pickup. Wonder what this means for Jackson??

I'd love for us to bring in Ray Sherman if he's available but I don't think he is.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

So they let go of KM? Why? How about they get rid of the guy calling the plays? How about we get rid of the guy that thinks Grossman and Beck at legit NFL QB's. Oh wait. That can't happen cause Mike would never fire his son, nor would he fire himself. Guess he needed a scapegoat. lol.

For the record, the Tampa Bay Bucs lost their last 10 games this year under Morris' stewardship.

Four losses this year were by 28 points or more.

Bucs gave up 494 points this year - - most in the NFL. The next worst scoring defense gave up 45 points less than the Bucs did.

Many observers believed that the team quit sometime around early December.

For the record the year before he was 10-6 with a team starting 10 rookies. Don't fall victim to the "error of recency". I can't tell why they stunk up the joint this season anymore than I can tell why they didn't the year before...neither means he's great or awful.

Morris' Bucs did just fine in 2010. It would not be a shock to see a young team regress from a 10-6 record. However, what the Bucs showed in 2011 has to be categorized as "disturbing". Losing 10 in a row and losing 4 games by more than 4 TDs is not just a regression from a surprisingly good season; it is a collapse.

Morris and the rest of the coaching staff have to own a significant part of the collapse of the team - - the part that is over and above a mere regression.

I like the guy but one of the knocks was that his players quit on him this year.

With Shanny in charge thats not happening. If anything, it should be a good situation for Morris to learn how to control a locker room. Any inkling Shanny detects of quitting would be addressed immediately.

Is that him or his players' fault? They were good before...then as soon as the get some injuries and some adversity they fold up? It certainly could be that he didn't do a good job or it could be that the players are young and nothing he did would have changed it.
