Would people be pumping Tom up as much as they do? Probably not.
If ifs and buts my man, he didn't play good today but he's still in the big game

MY point is, he gets wayyyy too much credit for those SB wins. Especially when two of those wins came off of Vinateri's foot.

Brady arguably got them there and definitely deserves plenty of credit.. not to take anything away from Vinatieri's contributions

I hate the Patriots that much and I think the Giants have the best chance at beating them. Also..**** Carlos Rogers.

..but if Vinateri misses those kicks, would you be saying he was one of the best to ever play the game? Probably not. So in essence, his legendary status is based off the work of another man who was in fact even more valuable than he (brady).

I don't like either. I don't want the Giants to have another chance for a trophy and I don't want Carlos to get a ring, especially since he's moved and started running his mouth.

I don't like the Giants and I don't like Rogers. Mostly because he's doing the Antonio Pierce act and acting like we didn't care about/value him. It feels like in every interview Rogers does, he has to take some swipe at the Skins.

... Meh.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Game Thread

QBs get too much credit in general.

But then again they take too much blame when things go bad.

I'd rather have the 49ers win this NFC title game. I can't stand the Giants. I'll always root against our division rivals.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Game Thread

For as awesome as Davis' TD was, he's got two knucklehead 15yd penalties already. Gotta be smarter than that.
