Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

Here's a link....

Buzz among NFL execs is Redskins trading up

Skinsfan, I honestly don't know. I kinda hoped we could nab one of the Saints WR's and possibly one of the 8-10 other decent WR's that will be available in FA.

People are probably gunna say I'm over killing it QB wise but if we pick RGIII and he's not ready or for some reason can't play or Luck and it's the same situation we will be screwed. I'd rather have too many decent QB's and be able to trade one away next year if need be then to not have anything like this year went. My perfect world...

Flynn/RGIII
or
RGIII/Weeden or Foles
or
Luck/Weeden or Foles

Basically if we can pick up a FA QB then I can see us taking RGIII and not worrying about whatever else happens in the draft. Win/Win. If we can't get a decent FA QB then I'd prefere we get two from the draft, hopefully one of the top two and it would be nice to pick up a 2nd rounder to challenge each other. Obviously if we are subject to having to pick up 2 QB's in the draft then I imagine we will have to pick up decent WR in FA to work in with what we already have.
