No, it's not like the way it is portrayed in H-Wood. AND the cops were....WAY overwhelmed. The magnitude of all those animals being freed no-doubt completely freaked them out beyond what they were equipped to deal with.
Could it have been handled differently? Maybe.....I can think of several different scenarios that would have a....happier ending. BUT, without having been there it is all speculation and conjecture.
AND it ended the way it usually does....Animals pay for what man has done......
