I'll be nice since I'm not a RGIII fan ... here's the scoop:

Robert Griffin III

Upside- Griffin has become much more than a freak athlete or spread offense distributer. He has good arm strength and, more importantly, showed exellent accuracy on deep and intermediate throws. Athletically, he could be a star receiver or running back, and his ability to throw with velocity and accuracy on the run is Aaron Rodgers-like. He has the demeanor and charisma to be the face of a franchise.

Downside- His learning curve is a little steeper after playing out of a shotgun-heavy spread offense. His comletion percentage is misleading due to a lot of shorter throws.

Oh you mean like in the TCU game where he had 350 yards passing, 5 TDs and more long bombs completed than you can shake a stick at? That kind of shorter throw?!

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just passing on what was in my "NEW" draft magazine. There was positives you could be proud of, there were negatives I think were fair, and the bottom line was positive and truthfull.

But he had great stats at Baylor, and everyone knows huge numbers in college always translate into success in the NFL. How dare you come in here with that weak sauce!

Ah so it's 44, XXVI, and NC who have chosen to take on the world.

In all seriousness though it's not just about the numbers. The ease in which he completes deep passes is scary. Maybe even scarier then his speed. It's like while he was at Baylor every 4th or 5th pass went for more then 20 yards and we're not talking screens and slants that went for big gains, I'm talking about streaks, out and ups, comebacks, post, corners etc. The big boy throws.
