Moss maybe...but IMO that would be bad in a way because it means are young guys are not progressing. As for Cooley he has not been healthy since 2008. He used to be a good player but he's finished and Redskins fans don't want to accept it because he's such a fan favorite. I honestly don't think Cooley is going to make the team. I think Moss fate will be determined by how the rest of the WR's look between now and the final cut in August.

Or maybe it just means Moss is still performing at a high level, if someone beats him out so be it, but regardless, whoever wins the spot will do so based on their ability, not their age.

Cooley was healthy in 2010 and had 77 catches in this offense. He's 29, not 39. Odds are he still has some productive years left.

I could see Moss having a good summer and cracking the lineup...I agree he still has some good football left in him. Disagree completely on Cooley...I think he is a shell of the player he used to be and we need to cut bait. And he was my favorite player on the team in his prime like he was for a lot of us...but I think it's over. The guy who used to catch a 7 yard pass and then drag defenders for another 5 yards is gone for good...

Not against it but was not in the sign him at all costs camp either. London is a little different...he's team captain and we did not have anyone on the roster that we could even project into his role. the offense on the other hand is getting a complete makeover and these players were talking about are not in the long term plans. Obviously if one or both of these guys is so good this summer that they earn starting roles they will be back but I just don't see it happening and i sort of think it's time to move on to a new era with the offense.
