I think that Smoot was pretty good before Williams came here, so I would have to disagree with you on that, but I do agree that Williams did jump start Pierce's career....

The point is he went from a decent CB to an elite type CB in 1 season, at least in other team's eye's.

People want to judge Smoot by what he did under Williams, and then judge others before they have a chance to play under Williams, Harris was a good CB before his injury, he should be fully healed which by his own admission he wasen't a 100% last season, couple that with Williams and we will all be saying Smoot who, and in case people forget, the backup plan is more talented than either 1, and that's Rogers.

I have no doubt that Williams will make a bonified MLB out of the talent he has to work with, kind of like denver and RB's.
