Re: Protecting RG3's Great Expectations
It's a little late now. Would have been a little late as far back as the draft.
“I love talking to you guys,” Griffin said. “It’s great every single time, but that’s Coach Mike’s decision. He wants me to talk to you guys once a week, so I’m talking to you guys once a week. The biggest thing is that I’m the quarterback and I’m the face of the team, the face of the franchise. I think we all understand that. The guys understand that if I’m getting all the attention, we’re doing extremely well on the field.” Please don't start to get cocky, RGIII. You aren't the face of the franchise yet, though we hope you will be. |

Re: Protecting RG3's Great Expectations
They keep counting this year's sixth pick to make it sound worse.

Another way to put it: If we didn't do that trade, and simply picked another guy, we would have given up one 1st rounder for that guy. What did we give up for RG3? Three 1sts and a 2nd. It's no more complicated than that, people! Last edited by HailGreen28; 08-17-2012 at 01:59 PM. |
