2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

I'm convinced NC is an anarchist at heart. As such, he gets a little from column A (opinions of "liberals" within the liberal democratic political system), a little from column B (opinions of "conservatives" within the liberal democratic political system) and a whole lot from Bakunin.

IMHO - the terms "left" and "right" are becoming more and more archaic with the polarization of opinions and the erosion of the 18th century liberal democratic system established by the founders.

Even as recently as forty years ago, both left and right bought into the ideal of classic liberal democracy and the then existing political system as a means of reaching a solution to differences. Libertarianism, anarchism, communism and similar philosophies were considered fringe and incompatible with such a system.

Now, as our govt. gets larger, more intrusive and less responsive, frustration over the amount of corporate money and all things Washington is leading people to re-explore and buy into these once fringe political philosophies that de-emphasize the societal nature of civilization and play upon utopian desires.

All of this is just my musings on Tuesday morning. I have proof and/or links for none of it. Sorry for the digression.

The two party system simply no longer suits us. Maybe it never did.

Pretty much explains how I feel about our system, and its why I will be voting for her come November. Don't tell the Elephant crew running around here though, would shatter their thoughts of me being the liberal Obama supporter.



I think you should all listen to this woman. She has more knowledge and direction for this country than any politician out there.

Just because I have called you liberal does not mean your a dem. The green party is liberal or progressive how ever you want to call it. I give you credit for voting for who you most support. She says the war put us in dept but if you take all her programs we would be in even more dept.
