Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

Skins win 45 - 42.

Brees stat-line: 28-40 / 482 / 5TDs (he's my fantasy QB)

I think the Skins will make some big plays and do some things that haven't been on film. Saints will struggle on D and take a couple games to adjust to the new playcaller on O. Should be a shoot-out, we'll pull it out thanks to RG3/Moss/front 7 on D.

Why be a fan if you don't believe your team can win a game? Even in our worse years I have never picked my team to loose.

Oh I believe they can win, but weighing all the factors I just don't think they will.

I know it's tough for you righties to separate reality from fantasy at times.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

I think we can win if they force Brees to make mistakes. He throws more picks than the rest of the top 5 qb's so if we can pick him off i can see us winning
28 Skins
24 Saints

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

We're going to see if Brees can lead the team like Manning, making decisions on the fly. He won't have Sean Payton calling the instructions in to his helmet.

Brees also held out for a while.

Between those two things, I think he'll be rusty and possibly second-guessing himself at times, especially with our front 7 abusing him all day long.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

Orakpo is back. Fletch and Kerrigan will be chomping at the bit as usual. I expect Wilson and Jackson to come in a few plays to add pressure. Hope to see a little of Jenkins at DE. Cofield will do his job and the LB's will be flying. Baker spelling Cofield could also add some pressure. Riley and Robinson are both athletic LB's and should help with coverage and Riley on the blitz. If this Saints offense is not finely tuned just yet....we're gonna have some celebrating to do. And I don't think anybody knows what the Shannys have in store for RG3 yet. Especially the Saints defense.

Well actually your own statement said "I believe they can win" as a righty we can seperate reality its just we take the postive thinking over the negative looser thinking.

Yes. Although I can be intellectually "very concerned" about a game and be unsurprised when we lose, I always follow my heart when making advance predictions and never ever pick us to lose.

This is why I also never bet on games.

Tell you what, you can go and bet on the Skins to win every week, and I'll bet based on reality, and we'll see who the "looser" is at the end of the season.

Ok, I'll bet you $5 a game (I have the skins each game) to be donated to the other persons choice of charity.
