Re: Redskin @ Rams: Break it down
As to the Rams. First and Foremost, you keep yourselves in check. We have lost to the Rams to many times because of bonehead Skins play, and this is a week that sets up like that. Big win, Rams have a heartbreaking loss. They see now what we want to do with RG3 and crew, but we should win "easily".
Stop Jackson, pressure Bradford, and don't make offensive mistakes. |

Lots of quick passes to keep their front off of Griff. Try to rely on YAC to get chunks of yardage rather than 7 step drop passes. Keep the Lambs defense honest with lots of zone-read options and play action.

It's the quintessential trap game, one we have played against the Rams many times in Week 2 or 3, following great wins against teams we statistically shouldn't have beaten, one we have lost against the Rams many, many times in Week 2 or 3. If we don't play down to them, if we don't lay a giant, rotten egg over there on Sunday, if we have an overall fantastic team effort like we did against the Saints, then I'm all in and will be thinking like Wilbon that I'm not waiting for next season and will be thinking of big things for this one. Fun Fact: I trust numbers, math is the one constant in the Universe, and I did not know that Michael Smith of Numbers Never Lie had the 'Skins going at least 8-8 and getting into the playoffs this year with the rookie QB. He laid out a very good case, noting that we swept the Superbowl Champion NY Giants and we lost both games to the Cowpokes with only a total of five points between the two and that was with Sexy Rexy and a defense that's improved since last season. He argued passionately and convincingly with the math that the pieces are in place NOW for the team to at least get into the post-season. If we shine this weekend against those godforsaken Rams - who, IMO, are a barometer of the true health of our team - I'm buying into everything lock, stock and barrel. |

Re: Redskin @ Rams: Break it down
Pretty much this in a nutshell. The Rams OL is suffering as noted by Bradford's performance last year. He hasn't proved he can perform with the pressure in his face so I say bring the heat, and bring it often.
