Whisenhunt is a good coach but he's not great by any means. I do like what he's doing there though.

I've no strong feelings for or against Newton; but is there still a rule in the NFL that prohibit team demonstrations in the endzone? Aka the old anti-"Fun Bunch" rule? That would explain teammates shunning him as he "performs".

He's gonna be alright. He didn't take any heat after his team lost games last year because it was year one, no one expected wins and he was playing above rookie level. Eventually, if they keep losing, he'll get some blame even if he plays well and he'll tighten up his attitude. I'll bet he gets his demeanor right by the second half and they win a bunch of games.

If memory serves me, the Steelers squeaked into the playoffs that year and managed to put together 3 nice games in a row. There is a lot of LUCK involved in winning a Super Bowl. Any coach will tell you this. (even ones that have won it)

The thing about NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl is that the best team doesn't always win. It's the same with NCAA basketball. How often does the #1 ranked team after the season win the NCAA tournament? Not very often.

How often does the best team in the NFL win the Super Bowl? Not very often. I know many of you can't grasp this concept, but it's the reality of it. A team that goes 16-0 is by in large a better team than one that walks into the playoffs at 9-7. Does this mean the better team is going to win? Nope. That's the beauty of it. It's a one game elimination and if the stars align, and the ball bounces your way, chances are you may end up winning that game.

AGAIN, don't bother responding about how the best team does win the super bowl..and blah..blah...blah. Yeah, been down that road, heard it. Still doesn't make it true. What it does make them is Super Bowl champions.

As a side note, the only professional sport you'll see the better team win it's championships more often than not are the NBA, MLB, and NHL. Anytime were you have a best out of X games type of series, the chances are in favor of the better team winning out more often than not.

^ lol. That dude is a perfect fit on the Jets. Him and Cromartie sit around and talk about how not to tackle.

The personalities on that team is f*ckin amazing. Santonio, Bart Scott, Cromartie, Landry, Tebow, Revis...and Rex
