tv capture card (starting at $20-30)
dvd recorder + blank dvds (starting at $40-60 and $20 per 100) massive massive hard drive + a decent cpu to speed up compression... some software packages will let you record straight to DVD, that takes some cpu etc to do in real time though. I've found the best way is to record to a hard drive and remove commercials/worthless crap (random announcer babbling etc) then compress it to a divx .avi file (HD quality at 350mb/hour... you could get up to 6 games on ONE dvd, but to play those back on a tv you'd need a tv out or a dvd player that'll play divx (which exist but aren't common)) |
