Yep. Kyle had called it 3 or 4 times earlier in the game and the defense was ready for it. Looked very clearly like the defender was sitting back and jumped the route for the INT. Another frustration is how easy Kyle makes it for the defense to jump routes because his formations/routes don't stretch the field.
And Davis was the target 4 out of 5 times. Not sure why the defense wouldn't have read the play regardless of who was targeted, except that if Davis was there for the 5th time you'd think EVERYBODY would expect it.

Jumped the route? Did you watch the play? Jumping a route is either undercutting it or making the cut better than the receiver. The guy who intercepted was the safety behind the play. No body jumped the route on the int. RG3 double pumped it and never should have released it. That ball was complete if Paulsen doesnt stop his route. It was a mis-communication between a TE and QB who dont normally play a lot together. As far as the defender sitting back, what you mean is he was playing safety. And last I checked, every safety in the league plays safety, except M. Williams apparently.
