He must be terrible because I think Doughty is one of the least athletic players in the league and he starts ahead of Gomes. Can't disagree with the rest of your additions.

Gomes got abused in coverage when he started and on the field. He is ok in run support, but Ive seen he has also studied the Rocky McIntosh "Book of Bad Angles" which he takes alot as well. Doesnt have the speed or knowledge for an NFL safety.
