I guess my point is that these things happen, and if there is no structural damage the rule of thumb should (or at least for me) be that you play when you feel you can. Just because it hurts or looks bad doesn't mean it is bad.
Of course RGIII is a $100+ million asset (not investment, asset), so I would not expect him back on the field until the Pope says its ok.

Hopefully this is how it will go with Griffin. I'm with Matty on this one. If he's cleared to play I play him. We're in the middle of a playoff race. But if there's any sign of limping or restricted mobility, I wouldn't hesitate to put KC in. But I would only do it if Dr. Andrews assured me he was good to go and playing on it would not cause further damage.
