This is a horrible idea for a couple of reasons:

1) Fedex is one of the one of the newer/nicer stadiums in the league. Financially, for the team, league, and taxpayers who'd be expected to contribute, it doesnt make sense to move. Its just a dream of older fans who daydream about the "glory days."

2) Unless you want to root for the Washington Warriors, you shouldnt want the team to move back to D.C.

Redskins name change should be discussed, Vincent Gray says

Mayor Vincent C. Gray (D) today suggested there would have to be a controversial prerequisite to any stadium deal: a name change, or at least discussion of one.

The Washington "Redskins" are not moving back to D.C. Time to move on.
