Good to hear they'll get rid of that outlet pass play. BigSKINBauer, I agree that turnovers are out Achilles Heel right now. We are near the top in yards per game, but we aren't putting up as many points as we should. If we can erase those turnovers, we'll do alright. I was happy to see us get at least two redzone touchdowns against Pittsburgh.
My folks were both born in DC and I've lived there most of my life, so I am right there with you wearing my rose-colored glasses. |

I wouldn't so much worry about points per game during pre-season. The staff's objectives are pretty much three fold: evaluate talent, minimize injuries, and of course win....scoring is important but it's not the main thing. Think about how Spurrier's teams lit up the scoreboard a couple of seasons ago and tanked in the reg. season. We'll be fine when it counts! |
