Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Quote:
Felt terrible after second dose, but not NEARLY as terrible as those I know that had the virus. And I am alive. No comparison. As for name calling in this thread, well when people are risking our livelihood because of misinformation that has zero basis in fact and spreading it on the internet… talking life and death here …well name calling seems extremely insignificant in comparison. |

Matthew Paras
@Matthew_Paras · 4h Rivera said he got the turnout he was looking for on Sunday when the team gave an opportunity for players to get vaccinated. ---------------- Really really hoping we arent taking J&J like the mfyankees. |

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
People judge each other every day for every action. Don’t like it? Sorry my gentle little flower, nobody cares. If you don’t get the vaccine you’re a dumbass.
It is what it is, let’s not get too carried away with tolerance.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Thank goodness this is true for lots of reasons:
Ron Rivera Presser: Vaccination status will not play a part in who makes the team, we’ll keep the best players. HogsHaven tweeted that one.

He is just a stud on and off the field. I love that dude as much as I can love someone I don't know personally. Whenever he can be re-upped, give him ALL OF THE MONEY! Don't fuck around. The future is bright from a leadership standpoint with McLaurin, JA, and Chase.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
We should have the Dundie Awards here. That would be some fun polling.
Come up with 5-10 awards, and do like 2 day polling on each one. That could carry is right into some actual games. Probably stupid but reading all the different posts today was wild. I don't care if it's stupid or not, sounds fun to me. Go Team!

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Just curious how people felt after they got vaccinated. I got really sick for about 5 days. I felt so bad that I wanted to go to the hospital. I don't think I'm going to put my body through that again, idk. However I am 51. These guys probably bounce back a lot faster than I did. I get why these guys don't want to do it.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
First shot I had no reaction. 2nd shot I had on a Wednesday, felt very fatigued for about 24 hrs and by Friday I was 100% again. I'm 48.

First shot gave me a sore arm. The second knocked me on my butt the next day. After that I felt like Superman. So one day of laying on the couch. A small price to pay IMHO. |
