Am I the only one that still thinks it's weird the NFL announces the winners before they do their awards show? I thought about watching it with some friends last night but it seems pointless because we already know the winners.

Yeah that makes no sense at all

I hope Manning puts a cherry on the sundae and gets a ring tonight.

Lamarr Houston is interesting. Obviously, Oakland has the cap space to beat any offer, but the weird thing about Houston is that over his four years they've moved him progressively wider in terms of alignment. He played this entire season in a two point stance, and often in a 9 tech. That would translate to an OLB in our system.

Physically, I think he can handle playing over the tackle, but I doubt he can two-gap against the run. So he's likely not a base defense guy here. But he's probably the best available solution if Orakpo walks. Not an elite pass rusher, but a disruptive talent who will disappear for stretches.

Looks like Kirk Cousin and Kyle Shannahan are making a play to trade Kirk to Cleveland. Not sure if I would do it this year, but it may be our best chance to get value for Kirk.

I think we should not part with Cousins unless the deal is too good to pass up - which for me would be at least a second round pick. We need a quality backup with RGIII's injury history.

Agreed. KC hit a bump in the road at the end of the season. Just like winning takes a team effort, however, I am not sure it's fair to judge KC on those last three games - that was a fail/fail scenario if ever there was one.

Let's get one more year out of him and then trade him for what we can unless we get an offer we can't refuse. In which case, it sexy Rexy one more time! lol

Ahh Rex. Twenty years from now, he will still be our 3rd string QB. We will all have forgotten he's still on the team by then. Then one day, my son will ask who that guy is. And I will tell him that I remember way back when he was our starter, and my son will look at me like I am a crazy old codger for saying it.

I just noticed that Lester Hayes is not in the HOF ? How he gets passed over is shocking . IMO he is a top 10 CB .

Texts between Martin and Incognito finally surface | ProFootballTalk

Martin seems to be really good at lying.

I know NFL players get girls at the drop of a hat but seriously Incognito? You're sleeping with hookers? You don't even have to pay for it, the girls will come to you!

Ain't nobody got time for some ol STD ass. Pass.

Other than not having the NFL Network, I don't get why people b*tch about Thursday games. Hey, it's more football to watch.
