That's a good point, but the pies in the truck were shaving cream pies being delivered to the orphanage, where the clown was gonna use them to entertain the orphans. I wouldn't mind if it was a pie you could eat, because understandably any man would want those pies, but to eat shaving cream pies just because you want to deprive some helpless orphans of a little fun? I think that's a little too harsh, but hey, that's Lenny P. for you.

I'm with That Guy on this one. I really just don't even care what he has to say. He could write an article tomorrow proclaiming the Skins as the greatest team in the history of football, and I still wouldn't care. He's got no credibility. To me, he's no more qualified to write an article about our team than any Joe Schmoe Cowboy, Giant, or Eagirl fan.

As far as the Pat Ramsey reference, Pasquarelli didn't word it well, but he isn't suggesting that Ramsey is still on the roster.

He did qualify his statements quite a bit, guys.

One element Campbell does have going for him, beyond his impressive physical skills-set, is that he was handpicked by Gibbs to, at some point down the road, stop the team's quarterback carousel. That gives him a meaningful edge over Patrick Ramsey, the last first-round quarterback taken by Washington before Campbell, in 2002. Having inherited Ramsey, the current coaches owed him no loyalty and so the staff essentially completed the systematic undermining of his confidence begun by Steve Spurrier, awarding him the starting job at the outset of last season and then benching him after the first half of the opening game. Subsequently, Ramsey was traded to the Jets for an undisclosed draft pick in March.

As for when Campbell gets there, well, it's still anyone's guess. The suspicion in Washington is that if Brunell were injured during a game, Collins, who has averaged just 3.4 pass attempts over the last eight seasons, would take over and finish the contest. If the injury sidelined Brunell for a game or two, the staff would prepare Campbell to be the starter.

That is, however, just guesswork.

Once again, it's basically just an article attempting to say something when there's nothing to say at this point. Gibbs and Saunders have not decided yet what their QB depth chart looks like, they will evaluate in the preseason. And then it could change from there throughout the season.

It's way too early to write an article like this and Lenny P knows it. But he has to write something.

The main thing that bothered me was that he said Ramsey was traded for an "undisclosed" draft pick. I mean, are you kidding? Not only was it disclosed, but the draft has HAPPENED. So if you took eight seconds to do some research youd see that the Skins ended up with the Jets 6th rounder...hmmm wonder why? Jackass.

I actually like the idea of Collins, who knows Saunders' offense the best of any of our QBs, filling in for an emergency to finish a game. Then...prep Campbell for the next start.

I don't like the tone of that article, but it IS a good idea to me.

My opinion is that Collins is there to teach the offense. Gibbs knows he is not game worthy and he will be the number 3 qb all year. If Brunell can't go, it's Campbell's show.

Consistently, these fans fail to recognize that we are above the requirements demanded of lesser journalists and that we have neither the time nor the inclination to research any facts.
