I can't find the vid on cnn... can you post a link, or was it removed??

Re: Clarett makes the news again

This a great article. Its amazing the Bronco's burned a third round pick on him. I wish him the best.

Exactly I'd give a cowboys fan arm/leg to be apart of it.

4 loaded guns? You don't even have enough hands for all of those.

Maybe he was on the way to try out for the Cowboys.

Re: Clarett makes the news again

He seemed like he had the potential to be a good NFL back, if he had stayed in school. But I don't think anyone in the history of American sports has ever fallen from grace as quickly as Maurice Clarett. I do feel bad for the kid. Someone needs to save him from himself.

I find it hard to have much pity for the guy at this point. He's old enough to know better, old enough to be acting like a man and not a thug. He had the world at his feet and he flat out blew it. It's hard to feel sorry for that.

Re: Clarett makes the news again

Oh, I'm not trying to imply that he doesn't know what he's doing or that he doesn't deserve to be punished. I feel bad for him for the same reason as Strawberry and Gooden...there is something seriously wrong with them. I don't what the hell it is, but I think Clarrett is more than stupid. He needs some help, but if he wants to act like a gang banger, it'll catch up to him. You can bet on that. He deserves whatever happens to him.

I mean, Maurice Clarrett is a cautionary tale. They might as well name the rookie symposium the "Come here so you don't end up like Maurice Clarrett conference."

Total waste of life that will never amount to anything.......that about sums it up for me.

And no, none of this surprises me.

He had enough guns to necessitate an entire gun rack

[content here removed because TMC beat me to it because my damn computer can't do squat today]

Perhaps Clarett has started a new career in bounty hunting...

Re: Clarett makes the news again

Oh my, I would hate to be Clarret's enemy. He was obviously look to let his 9mm loose. They need to get this guy off the fucking streets before he robs/kills someone.

Re: Clarett makes the news again

On Sports Center they just showed his lawyer. The excuse that he gave for the bullet proof vest (which I think may be illegal in most states) and the guns is that Clarett has been receiving death treats for some reason.
I don't know, sucks that his life is so f'ed up, no excuses though.
