EXACTLY.

Great point. And besides any man that says he has never cried for whatever reason is a damn liar.

I've never cried! My eyeballs just sweat sometimes. Besides, I don't care if QJC cries, screams or recites poetry after a loss. If that's what he needs to do to motivate himself to get better, I'm all for it. Results baby. It's about the results.

Maybe if this was the superbowl or a really big playoff game, but it was just a away game vs. our arch rival that we had a decent shot at winning.

I dont think having the most involved player on the team crying in front of everyone else insprisers everyone to play harder. I personally would take offense to it if he were my QB....

Dude get a grip!
Whatever man, This was JC's biggest game thus far in his career. He knows how much Dallas games mean to us, and fought incredibly hard to deliver. The kid has a lot on his shoulders right now, and as long as he remains cool and collected on the field, then what does it matter if he gets a little emotional afterwards. To be honest I wanted to cry after the game, and I EXPECT my QB to have AT LEAST as much emotion as I do, I think it is endearing, humbling, and it will give his team reason to fight even harder for him.

A little homophobic are we?

First crying is gay and now I'm a fag?

Re: Campbell takes losing hard

My guess that it might be an indication of the pressure he's facing and a lot of built up things. I also suspect it was not so much about losing the game, but rather his feeling that HE lost the game for his teammates (I'm sure he was up pretty late thinking about the Moss overthrow and the Terrance Newman INT). If he starts crying after every game then we might have to get Dick Vermeil in here to coach the team, but I think in this instance you can certainly understand where that sort of emotion was coming from. He took the loss personally, he felt like it was his fault, but he'll watch the film, he'll get better, and we'll go beat Tampa on Sunday. I mean, hey, we can't all be tough guys who call guys out from behind the saftey of a computer screen...

And how old are we? The only people I know who really hate gays are the guys who are the most likely to preach, preach, preach while the sun is up and dress up in drag once the wifey goes to bed.

I was going to post a sarcastic and funny one about JC crying, but it kind of doesn't work now....

I'm not a big fan of football players crying, but there is nothing wrong with it, I'm sure he wasn't sobbing on the floor in the fetal position. He probably had a few tears running down his checks. I'm glad to see he has this level of passion to win and be successful. This attitude is what we need. Other players seeing his level of passion and committment will pick up their games if they are worth keeping around.

JC definitely isn't soft on the field. He worked harder than anyone in the off-season mentally and physically. He's also takes some shots and gotten right back up. He keeps his composure in the game and that is what's important.

There are plenty of guys who won't shed a tear but are the biggest, selfish babies in the world. They get fat contracts, joke around after losses, play like crap and wind up on IR (Brandon Lloyd).

Right on, Sammy. The reason JC's crying in the locker room is a COOL thing is that he's a total baller on the field. Taking his hits, scrambling for first downs, airing that ball out, he's not afraid to take risks and take some shots. He's no pussy on the field, so I've got no problem showing a little emotion after the game.
