My respect for Harrison is seriously diminished.

Despite a mountain of evidence and the serious disbelief of the police the DA decided not prosecute. So eventually the guy he shot at sued him in civil court and magically that guy got murdered about a block away from Harrison's bar. Sounds pretty clear that Harrison and/or his proxies perpetrated some serious illegal shenanigans and the DA did nothing.
good synopsis. on additional piece of evidence: there was a video camera outside harrison's bar that had the entire thing on tape.... except 3 minutes where the shooters face would have been visible... harrison or someone in his employ deliberately erased that portion of the video.

there's a reason no team in the NFL even considered signing harrison after the colts released him... everyone knows he was either directly responsible or complicit in a first-degree murder.

Crazy! Who would've thought Marvin Harrison was so gangster. I hope he doesn't get away with this.

If this is proven to be untrue this slander at it's greatest. Why run the risk of printing this that is why you do a exclusive interview on tv you don't print this. Sounds like Mark Price ex-coach of Alabama and SI. Not saying it's not true but it's too much to risk.

the vast majority of the article comes directly from police reports and comments from public officials. its a matter of public record. i'm not a lawyer but i dont see the potential for slander at all.

I guess it's easy to understand why Robert Nixon didn't see anything. Wonder if the Police ever questioned him about his reportred version of the story.

That's the "code" in the city. No one ever sees anything when a "brother" is involved.

Re: The Dark Side of Marvin Harrison

If he took out a drug dealer that was actually threatening to cause problems, i don't have a huge problem with it. Not as much as if he was going out and driving drunk, or harming law abiding citizens. It's not right that he took things into his own hands like that, but this just doesn't rank that highly on my outrage meter.

edit- that was a really good read, thanks for posting SS.

He almost murdered a 2 year-old kid and his family!

If only he lived in the early colony times or the wild west. He would have been a hero.

Just curious, do you think Bruce Smith is a worse person? He has been charged 3 times with DUI and been convicted once.
