Re: In retrospect...

In the past I would have said Ade, but it seems as if he is developing into a reliable special teamer...he's like that guy on a basketball team that can only play defense, except in his case defense is what he needs to learn.

Other than that I think that everyone had potential and will improve with time. but I also felt that John Hall should have been placed on IR and we had went with the dude from Maryland.

Re: In retrospect...

As much pre-season attention they gave to Jimmy Farris, he didn't do squat during the regular season.

Taylor Jacobs.

And to give Nic Clemons some props he really was a force when he was in there. Sometimes gave up big runs, but he's on the upswing of his career.

Re: In retrospect...

How about Patrick Ramsey to start the season...he scares the hell out of me when he would drop back because he always made those throws that would leave you wondering why.
You have to admitt that you were more relaxed with Brunell behind center because he would just throw it away if it weren't there and put our defense on the field.

Re: In retrospect...

Guys, it's obvious who didn't belong on the field at all last season...

Derrick Frost! If he's on the field that means we didn't score on that drive. Stay off the field Frost!

Wasn't he the holder, though?

Re: In retrospect...

Honestly, I wasn't relaxed with Brunell until after the Seahawks game. Even those two throws to Moss make me nearly crap my pants.

Re: In retrospect...

Ade is a special teams stud. He's in on every tackle. I take back everything bad I've ever said about Ade.

Re: In retrospect...

Same here. When he was playing in coverage earlier in the year I was a little pissed but he really did get better as the year went on.

Re: In retrospect...

Definitely Warrick "The Trash Can Man" Holdman. Its not just that he was bad (which he was) its that he was on the field instead of Arrington. Now I dont want to turn this into another "We shoulda kept LaVar" thread, because I think it was OK to let him go.

But I'll take LaVar's "boom or bust" potential on every play over Holdman's "bust" any day of the week (especially Sundays).

Re: In retrospect...

TRUE. Totally forgot about him (that's how GREAT he played for us).

Re: In retrospect...

Prioleau was a pretty solid player for us, not sure where he warrants any great dislike from us.

And yes, he's a pretty safe bet to make the team this year.

Re: In retrospect...

This is easy.....by far Taylor Jacobs. Dude was supposed to be a 1st round pick and hasn't done shit but get hurt and play soft.
