Warner is a good Kearse decoy for Manning. the Giants aren't ready to beat Philly. put Warner in the line of fire, then blame him when they lose, and then have a reason to make Manning the starter for the second game (healthy) and prepare for the second coming of the Eagles....

Manning is making a good case to start this season. While that speaks well of his ability, it shows just how weak Warner is. THe gints are going to be forced to start a rookie behind a suspect o-line. That can't be a good plan. Why did they get rid of Collins? This highlights the Gibbs wisdom of getting several good QBs.

warner WILL be thrown as kearse fodder, it'd be stupid to do otherwise, but its obvious that eli's going to be the man in NY... I feel bad for the rest of the team, O-line, secondary, STs... D-line and WR/RB is okay (minus drops+fumbles heh)... thats a real stinky team there... carolina is definately still gunning for gold though, they haven't let up.

gibbs got himself a tough preseason though
