You know it's funny, most of the time when I smell a cigarette I'm like wow that's gross. But once in a while I'll catch a whiff and it's the best thing ever and the craving comes back, but it's easy to squash at this point. You'll get there, take it day by day.

I haven't smoked today and I had only two yesterday. When I was in the service, I only smoke one a day. The difference between then and now is about 6-3 miles every other day. With that said, I think I'm going to start jogging across the Manchester Bridge on my lunch break.

My people bought two boxes of patches. If they want to use them then that's cool. I can't stand drugs. My smoke buddies is going nuts, poor bastard. He's trying to quit too.

I never really even started. Like, I've smoked plenty of cigarettes, but by never purchasing a pack myself, I've never have developed even the most minor desire to have one.

Completely different from quitting, I realize.

Do you just smoke when you drink? There are plenty of military guys that come into my work that do that. At least that's what they say. I'm a stress smoker. I'm the opposite. I don't smoke when I drink. Not 1 cig.

If you're not ready, you're not ready. I'm sick and tired of it. Right now I'm not dating. When I do start again, I'll have more women to choose from. A lot of gals will not date a smoker.

You really think that's true? I mean me being a gal and all that. I've never not dated someone becuz they smoked, not smoked or picked or not picked his nose (j/k) pass on the later. I judge on looks (yep) and if they make me smile.

I've had women tell me that. Everyone is different, but people don't smoke these days like they used to. I want more choice, not less.

I'm female and I used to be someone who would never, ever touch a smoker. But after briefly dating someone who smoked like a chimney and having quite a few friends who smoke regularly, I think I'm immune to it now.

It's a different experience dating a smoker, cause when you kiss them and hug them they taste like cigs and they smell like it and eh... It's something I had to get used to. But now I don't mind it as much.

...I'd still prefer to date a non-smoker though, since I don't smoke.

Only socially. Probably 2/3rds of the time when I'm drunk, but even then, I'm careful not to develop a smoking dependence when I have been drinking.
